Once a month, on 3rd Mondays, Code for KC hosts a “Learn Night,” where community members present information that is relevant to the Brigade–ongoing projects, vexing problems, or tutorials for new skill development.
May’s Learn Night guest: Sarah Hebert, Design Thinking Manager at Sprint
Join us for a hands-on workshop to learn how to use human-centered design to craft experiences that resonate emotionally with users.
You’ll learn:
- A simple framework to evaluate ideas and their impact.
- Methods for creating low-cost experiments that generate meaningful feedback from real people.
- How to apply prototyping and design thinking to your own project.
The workshop will be led by Sarah Hebert, Sprint’s Design Thinking Manager with over 20 years of experience, formerly working as the CEO and Creative Director of Curious Pixel and Interactive Director for many Fortune 500 companies including: Pfizer, Fannie Mae and Proctor & Gamble.
We’ll have soda and light snacks on hand. Presentations and Q&A will run from 6:30-7:30.
