If you get Lifeline, you don’t have to apply again for the ACP.
What is Lifeline?
Lifeline is an FCC program that helps you pay for your telephone bill. The benefit provides eligible consumers with a monthly discount of up to $9.25. Consumers living on Tribal lands are eligible for an enhanced discount of up to $34.25 per month.
The ACP is a new program that supports affordable access to home internet (or Wi-Fi). Lifeline and ACP benefits can be applied to the same service plan (if your provider participates in both programs) for a total benefit of $39.25. You can also use your $30 ACP benefit with a different provider than your Lifeline benefit if you choose.
