This month we will have a chance to hear about the work of Abada Health. Formally known as Helix Health, Abada Health works with its healthcare partners to use their own data to drive better outcomes or research. Abada Health’s product suite enables their partners to build insights for better health outcomes without losing control of their data. They strive to make meaningful changes by accelerating health data analytics for their partners.
Leading the discussion will be CEO and co-founder Anurag Patel. Anurag is integrally involved in KC Digital Drive, and now we have a chance to learn about his own business. He indicates that he is driven to apply his mission of better healthcare for all through better outcomes in population health and increased value through data-driven decisions and scalable with technology. His unique knowledge, skills, and experience obtained in the variety of start-up, research, and non-profit, clinical work, and more recently research work in Artificial Intelligence in Decision Support in healthcare, bring a unique perspective and experience to help build real world solutions to help achieve better healthcare for those around us.

Every month, we bring together a group of health care stakeholders to learn and share about technology and innovation projects happening in the region–and occasionally related topics from outside the Greater Kansas City area. Our stakeholders include hospitals and the health care system, city and state government officials, health IT firms and other corporate partners, startups working in health and wellness, and other civic organizations. The meetings are open, though not widely broadcast. They generally happen on the last Wednesday of the month, 8:30-10:00 am.
