This month we’ll engage solutions from two very different backgrounds.

This first is Routine Success, a mobile application supporting the independence of neurodivergent young adults. It is based on the principle that development of healthy routines is key to building a sense of accomplishment and well-being. The app allows the account owner to set goals, build relevant routines, deliver those routines in an easily-appropriated manner to the young adult, track progress, and offer rewards.

Routine Success is a Digital Sandbox graduate and a Pure Pitch winner that also has had to deal with a significant pivot on its road to success.

Our presenter will be Matt Gunter, CEO and co-founder. Matt served as President of SelectQuote’s Auto & Home division from 2016-2020 before transitioning into the role of Chief Communications Officer & Investor Relations. Prior to joining SelectQuote, he served as the Vice President of National Retail Channels for Sprint Corporation from 2013-2016 and held a variety of leadership roles within the finance and marketing divisions from 2003-2013. Before joining Sprint, he worked as a business consultant for Bain & Company and Arthur Andersen. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame and his M.B.A. from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

In our second session, we’ll get an update from Digital Conversation. It recently put new offerings in the marketplace. Digital Conversation is a secure, cloud-based platform where healthcare organizations implement Digital Conversation’s digital communication ecosystem and solutions. The company explores with clients how and where to deploy a messaging strategy. The goal is to extend the personal conversation in order to stay connected and improve the experience of the patient, drive revenue and lower operational and communication cost.

Bob Dudzinski, DPharm, over a 35+ year career, has gained extensive experience in pharmacy benefit management, mail order pharmacy, information management systems, strategic partnering, sales and marketing, M&A activity, and offer development. Bob has successfully started and sold a number of companies including a Prescription Benefit Management company, a Mail Order Pharmacy, a Retail Baseball and Softball Chain, and a Payment Integrity company. He has consulted for many organizations both inside and outside of healthcare at various levels of management. Bob received his Doctorate in Pharmacy from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

Every month, we bring together a group of health care stakeholders to learn and share about technology and innovation projects happening in the region–and occasionally related topics from outside the Greater Kansas City area. Our stakeholders include hospitals and the health care system, city and state government officials, health IT firms and other corporate partners, startups working in health and wellness, and other civic organizations. The meetings are open, though not widely broadcast. They generally happen on the last Wednesday of the month, 8:30-10:00 am.

We send out an email agenda and calendar invite to this stakeholder list, which we loosely call the Health Innovation Team. If you wish to be added to the email list, please send a note to jfitzpatrick@kcdigitaldrive.org.
